Let’s Go!
What a way to go was that of the CWG-2010? With Grandeur in opening, as if the CWG organizing committee was banging back at all the media which criticized them. Even the Indian Media as good as chameleon changing their status as and when they want…First booing the CWG Committee and after the success just glorifying them like anything
And the Indian Sportsperson really deserves a ovation for the show which has been put-up. Notably, the wrestlers and shooters. After all, we belong to the bequest of Mr. Bheem & Mr. Arjun…
Kalmadi and group were booed down by the audience at the time of closing ceremony. So, I think it was the Indian playing side which made India go proud.
Just Fighting, Living and Heading forward, the way A R Rahman sung…

Atrocities in His Own Country
1. Trivandrum: An aged man beaten by a group of young men in a main junction.
Reason: His car got stuck in the middle of the road, and he was unable to start it.
The videos were really inhibiting & can’t be tolerated at any cost. The old person was hit with a broom to make him open the door & get out of the car. If you think the acts of cruelty of youngsters stopped there, am afraid you are wrong. He was then tied with a rubber tube & thrashed. The videos revealed that the old person lost his mind for a while. The police then came for “The Rescue” thereby arresting the old person.
The old man was drunk. Still... The people who attacked were young, dressed well, seemed to be well-educated, well dressed, polished & intelligent enough to know that “hitting a person will hurt him.”
As told in one of my earlier posts, Kerala is a state with high literacy rate. But now, it makes me think. Literacy alone is not enough, whereas little obstinate rules would...
2. Alleppey: A 2 month old baby killed by the father.
Reason: An astrologer predicted that the baby would be cause of his annihilation
Thank God no videos were available to be telecasted live... I tell you the thought itself is really disturbing. (The changing Indian Media would dare to do that by following paparazzi traditions) The baby was held on the legs & thrashed on the ground. The killing of the baby itself cannot be justified, but wasn’t there any other way to do it? Again i tell you, am not defending the father’s act. It cannot be at any cost.
The Police were in search of the father & arrested the astrologer. Wait! The astrologer? Why? His prediction was true or came true. The baby caused the father to go under police custody. Then... Why?
In my opinion, he must be. His words “inspired” a person to take his child’s life. It’s an ill-fate that in this century people are being so irrational in their thoughts, feeding these astrologers and “Swamis” to cause more of “Santosh Madhavan” incidents
3. Malappuram: Police cop shot by the culprit.
A Police Sub-Inspector was shot by the accused when the officer went to arrest him with the warrant. He was doing his job. There exists a family depending on him. The next day the accused killed self. That was better way for him to die. Else the Kerala Police famous for their third degree acts wouldn’t have spared him and would have given him a torturing death.
“Sath Rakshanaaya! Khala Nigrahanaaya!”- Protect the Good! Demolish the Evil! If God himself can’t do that in His own country, how can we expect normal human beings to do that?

Déjà vu: Remembering the future
Let me quote one example from my life which made me realize that such a psychological thing happens to everyone... Once i was dribbling football back home through the street along with my friends... Suddenly i stopped... On explaining my feeling to my friends i came to know that everyone of the other 4 have felt the same at various, different instances..... Thank god! Am not the only one with “Psychological Disorder”
One of the school library books explained that it happens when the “Psychic vibrations” match with the surroundings... Sounds eerie right.... Yes you guessed it right.... I slammed the book off right away... And one night i had to walk through the same street again and the word psychic vibration that echoed inside my head, sent a chill across my spine... i fled... in an exaggerated way to explain-my feet never touched ground...
So let’s go back to the topic.... Isn’t it weird? You are quite uncertain that if the situation has occurred.... Why do you feel that it has happened in your life, though it hasn’t... you don’t know.... Even if it has happened, why on earth is it happening again... you don’t know the answer for that too...
In certain occasions, you feel it was a dream, in certain cases; your mind assures you that it has taken place... Whatever explanation science gives, however complex this phenomenon happens, it mesmerizes me....

Augmenting Spirit & its Sale
The Recent headline that the media pushed the boat about was the soaring sale of Alcohol in the state of Kerala during the season of Onam... It’s a pride for “Mallus” that being a small state with population of just 3 crore, Rs.30 crore were spent on Alcohol... Rs.10 per head... And per head expenditure increases when teetotallers are exempted... And it increases further if the details of liquor sold in bar and in black market are out...
And what is the reason that coerces the people to drink? Unknown....
I do remember one of our college lecturers bringing in the economics behind it...
1. Kerala is state with high literacy rate (highest to my knowledge).
2. Kerala is a state where women have high literacy rate.
3. Kerala is a state with high women to men ratio.
4. Women with high literacy demand more.
5. The men find it hard to meet their demands.
6. Tension increases.
7. Seeks tranquility in alcohol.
And to add to this,
Number 8: Kerala is the state with highest suicide rate... maybe alcoholism is the reason...
I am not stating that the above points are true... it maybe...
Onam
It's Onam... The regional festival of Kerala... Festival celebrated commemorating Lord Mahabali...
But why is it just another Onam?
Onam for the present generation is just “Pookkalamalsaram” (Floral carpet designing competition) and wearing traditional dress for namesake. And it is really sad to see few people finding it difficult to handle the traditional dress! In an unsettling way... Quite an ill-fate!
An Onam with the television featuring all hits(or so-called) of recent times, with all the Malayalees, sticking themselves in front of idiot-box to see the “Onavisesham”(Onam celebration) of their favourite stars, depriving themselves of the so called “vishesham”.
An Onam with all the textile shops marking down their prices. Thanks to them... At least the habit of buying Onakkodi (New dress) resides...
The pious, benign and chaste feeling of visiting temple, gathering flower on the way back, putting the floral carpet together with family, preparing the Onasadhya (feast) are all lost heaven...
I am afraid the future generations will be finding it hard to know the real pulse of Onam... No one will know what “Thumbappoo” & “Mukkoottippoo” means.
And the saddest part is that I am no exception...

I would try to express my Mind, Open my Heart, That would be my Spirit....
This is a venture as told by my friend... Thanks to her... It's a start of a new habit...
Rather than being lazy, it's better to explore own Mind, think few ideas, post it here in the Heart of this blog in a soothing way that no one is offended, provided taken in right Spirit.
